California’s 2nd Congressional District
Rancher. Author. Lawyer.
You deserve an independent voice in Congress who actually represents you. Nothing is accomplished when partisan elected officials focus on our divisions. I’ll measure every vote by one question: Does this help the people of my district?
For the past 22 years, I’ve been a rancher in Marin. I’ve been a lawyer for environmental organizations, working for healthy soils and clean water, and an author and advocate for sensible farming and ranching. I love working alongside my neighbors – regardless of their politics — to build vibrant communities. As a mother of two sons, I have spent years as a school board member and Little League and youth soccer coach. I’ve served as a church lay leader and as a City Commissioner.
Our focus should be on our communities. Californians should be able to afford to live, work, attend school, and get medical care in their local communities. We should have access to healthy food produced by our farmers, fisherfolk, and ranchers. I am amazed by how much we accomplish when we collectively roll up our sleeves and focus on the tasks right in front of us.
I will listen.
Independent. Practical. Proven.
